Hyundai releases the 2019 Genesis G70, impressive!

Hyundai's luxury arm, Genesis has finally launched its latest models the Genesis G70. Why is this important, because it needs the acceptance of the American market before the brand can really take off.

The car is competing in the ultra-competitive small, luxury, sedan segment of the industry. To start with, it has a 6 six-speed manual gear. Customers have the option of either a 252-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 or a 365-hp 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine. Also, an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters is offered on both, though the previously mentioned 6-speed manual is only offered on the 2.0-liter mill.

As for drive trains, they come with rear-wheel drive as standard but all-wheel drive is available. The V-6-equipped model with rear-wheel drive is the quickest of the bunch, with Genesis quoting a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds.  If you are looking for a little more punch, Genesis will offer a limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires.

The exterior design is god though a lot of critics argue that is like a mashup of different other company parts. As for the interior, you would not be disappointed with luxury highlights like wooden finishes, and diamond-stitched Nappa leather and a 15-speaker Lexicon sound system.

As usual like all other companies, pricing will be announced closer to the market launch but should start in the mid-to-high $30k bracket. Expect five trim levels to choose from starting with the base Advanced and topping out with the Sport. And as with all Genesis vehicles, G70 buyers will also be treated to extra services.

A handy one is a pickup and delivery service when your car's due for maintenance. Genesis will also provide a loaning option for customers.
