Apple holds patent for its first foldable flip display phone

Tech giant, Apple has reportedly filed a patent application for its first foldable display smartphone. The patent which was published by the US Patent and Trademark Office, describes a foldable phone with a display that can be ‘opened and closed like a book’ and comes amid recent rumours the tech giant might be working with LG on the latest model.

The technology will redefine the smartphone and gadgets market as this idea had been in the works for a long time.

The patent was published in November, 2017 by the US Patent and Trademark Office. See further caption - 'An electronic device may have a flexible portion that allows the device to be folded.'
