Asian electronic giant, Samsung recently showcased its newest offering - the widest computer monitor you can get in the market. It's a 49-inch LED screen. Called the CHG90, it has an aspect ratio of 32:9 which is far larger than ultrawide monitors with 21:9 aspect ratio. Take a look below.
The curved nature of the display allows for dominance and perfect control/view of what's been shown. Perhaps if there was no curve, one would probably always turn his head to see what's on the other side of the screen.
Viewing angles are great with decent colour saturation and sharp output. Gaming on the CHG90 delivers a great experience. As well, the screen could be divided into two, with each part for different apps (multitasking). That is, you could play a game on one half and watch a movie on the other half of the screen.
With a resolution of 3840 x 1080, it only indicates the super monitor is a double HD screen.
Reportedly, the CHG90 costs $1,500 only and is currently available for preorder.
